About the Conference
An Online International Conference will be held from 18 to 20 November 2022, focusing on towers from the Byzantine and Post-Byzantine periods (10th to 16th centuries). The event will take place online through Zoom Towers in Latin Mainland Greece and The Peloponnese.
This conference aims to explore different aspects of towers built during this time period. It will look at how these towers were built, decorated, used, and changed over time. Although the conference does not try to cover every detail, it will provide a place for scholars to share their research and ideas.
